A thrilling game took place tonight at Rethymno and PAOK following two prorogations and 50 minutes of game time, edged Al Riyadi 98-92, in its second game for the "Petros Ekonomakis" tournament". PAOK was better at the beginning of the game and led 20-13 at the end of the first quarter, having Kevin Langford leading the scoring. The game between PAOK and Unics Kazan was decided at overtime. PAOK lost 86-91 to the mighty Russian team in a game that led Soulis Markopoulos to many positive conclusions. PAOK began the game very well, with Odum organizing and stealing balls and managed to gain a 7 points lead (15-8) at the 4th minute of the game. Useful conclusions for yet another game for Soulis Markopoulos, this time from PAOK’s victory 73-64 against Istanbul BB, in a friendly game that took place at the PAOK Sports Arena. PAOK did not begin well into the game and was trailing by 10 (4-140 before the first five minutes of the game were played. PAOK completed its participation with the Patras Cup with yet another victory, edging Koroivos Amaliadas 78-56 on the last day of the tournament. The two teams played with absentees (PAOK without Charalampidis and Koroivos without Garrett, Vasiljevic, Lowry) and this gave the two coaches the opportunity to use all of their players. This time, Marc Carter was at the disposal of Soulis Markopoulos, however, just before the end of the game, Jake Odum hurt his knee.
