A thrilling game took place tonight at Rethymno and PAOK following two prorogations and 50 minutes of game time, edged Al Riyadi 98-92, in its second game for the "Petros Ekonomakis" tournament".

PAOK was better at the beginning of the game and led 20-13 at the end of the first quarter, having Kevin Langford leading the scoring. Al Riyadi reacted and gained the lead at the end of half time 37-34, while also maintaining the lead into the third quarter, when the score was 56-62.

The Lebanon team actually succeeded in taking a 10 point lead (61-71), but PAOK came back, tied the game 73-73 with continuous scoring by Charalampidis and the game was decided by details and at its second extra time. PAOK's captain tied the game 77-77 at the end of the first overtime as well and although PAOK was trailing found the way to come back and win the game.
