Kostas Charalampidis was born on April 5, 1976 in Thessaloniki, is 189 cm tall and plays the guard position. During his long career, he has played twice for Makedonikos (1997-2000 and 2004-06), Olympia Larissa (2002-04), Maroussi (2006-09), Panellinios (2009-10), Aris (2010-11) and KAOD (2011-12), while after finishing the season with KAOD he played for Italian Enel Brindisi, with which he won the second division Championship in Italy. He has twice also won the same title in Greece (A2 Champion) with Makedonikos (2000 and 2002). He has played the Uleb Cup final in 2005 and Eurocup Final Four in 2010.
He has been playing for PAOK since 2012 and has won the Greek League's 3rd ranking place for the 2013-14 season. He is currently the oldest active player in the HEBA League.
