Vangelis Margaritis, that was screened in the off season program of PAOK held at the PAOK Sports Arena from 4-8/6/2012, was born in Katerini on December 5, 1982, is 203 cm tall, is a forward and began his career with Korinos Pierias (1997-99). He continued with Iraklis (1999-2002), Ionikos Nikaias (2002-03), Apolloniada Patron (2003-05), Keravnos Aigiou (2005-07), Peristeri (2007-10), KAOD (2010-11) and Ikaroi Serrn in the 2011-12 season.
He was the A2 champion with Peristeri (2008-09) and KAOD (2010-11) and had a decisive part in both teams’ qualification in A1 division. During the 2011-12 season Vangelis Margaritis played 25 games with Ikaroi Serron and averaged 13.4 points per game (76% free throws, 63% in 2p. shots and 33% in threes), 6.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals.
He signed with PAOK in 2012 and won the 3rd place of the HEBA League in the 2013-14 season.
