Christos Saloustros was born in Heraklion Crete on March 29, 1990, is 2.01m tall and plays the guard/forward positions. He began playing basketball in Crete and at the age of 14 originally with Asteras and then with Minoa, before moving to Athens with his family in 2006. He played for Koukaki for two years until 2008, he later was a member of the Olympiacos junior team, while during the 2009-10 season he played for Sporting to continue with a three year tour with Filathlitikos. He debuted in the A1 division last season (2013-14) with the team of Panionios.
