PAOK edged Rethymno Aegean 67-61 for the last game of the international "Petros Ekonomakis" tournament that was held in Rethymno. Hence PAOK completed its presence in the tournament with two victories and one defeat and is coming back to Thessaloniki to begin the process of official games.

 

Actually, this was PAOK's last friendly game before the beginning of the official games for the team that begins the Greek Cup competition on Wednesday against KAOD at the PAOK Sports Arena. Soulis Markopoulos gave minutes to all his players, while Kostas Charalampidis did not play purely for cautionary reasons.

 

PAOK maintained the lead almost throughout the game. PAOK was leading 21-19 at the end of the first quarter, received a lot of pressure from the home team, but maintained the lead to the end of the first half, with Dedas scoring from 8 meters range and shaping the score at 33-30 at the end of the first 20 minutes.
