PAOK Thessaloniki made it to the Eurocup Last 32 by downing Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius 81-88 in the Lithuanian capital in Group E on Wednesday. PAOK finished the regular season with a 5-5 record, was third in Group E and will keep fighting for Eurocup glory. Rytas was sixth in this group with a 2-8 record. PAOK Thessaloniki stayed in the race to reach the Eurocup Last 32 in regular season Group E by downing Avtodor Saratov 104-99 at home on Wednesday. PAOK Thessaloniki kept its Last 32 hopes alive and kicking with a 73-75 overtime victory over Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul on Wednesday at the Sinan Erdem Dome. Hatcher starred with 32 points, including 2 free throws to tie it with 7 seconds left in overtime and a pull-up jumper to win it. Zenit St. Petersburg punched its ticket to the Last 32, overcoming an early double-digit deficit and beating PAOK Thessaloniki on the road 70-89. Szolnok Olaj picked up its second win of the season after coming back from 19 down to beat PAOK Thessaloniki 76-69 on Wednesday in Group E. With an impressive game, William Hatcher led PAOK to its first League victory (74-63) on last Saturday against Rethymno Cretan Kings in Creta. Hatcher scored 21 points (6/6 FT, 3/3 2FG, 3/5 3FG), and added 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals in 32 minutes in the game. With 33 Ranking, Hatcher became the Most Valuable Player of the Greek League, week 5.
