It has been 15 years from that horrible night and no one can or should be forgetting. Six PAOK fans lost their lives at the tragic Tempi accident 15 years ago and today at noon a memorial service was held. The service was attended by a large number of fans, representatives of all the PAOK sporting departments, while PAOK BC was represented by the Aristotle Karakousis, member of the Administration and the General Manager Nikos Stavropoulos.

The new season has officially started last Wednesday with a Cup game and continues tomorrow, Sunday, with the new League Premiere against Rethymno and immediately after that, next Wednesday, with the first Eurocup game for the season, against Pinar Karsiyaka in Turkey. PAOK is beginning the new season with quite a few new faces and against Rethymno Aegean, for the BasketLeague SKRATS Premiere, Marc Carter will be one of the main features. He has played for Rethymno, he has many friends with the Cretan team as it was obvious last week, but there Carter showed that there are no friends on the court. He led PAOK for the "Petros Ekonomakis" tournament and he will do the same now, although, as he says to paokbc.gr, tomorrow's game is a totally different one....

The new season has begun. Last Wednesday with the game against KAOD for the Greek Cup and our team's qualification to the semi - finals of the competition (together with Panathinaikos, Nea Kifissia and Apollon Patron) and continues this Sunday, with the League's premiere. Playing very satisfying basketball for the most part of the game PAOK edged KAOD 88-63 at the PAOK Sports Arena and qualified for the semi-finals of the Greek Cup competition.
