Bane Prelevic / President
Bane Prelevic was born in Belgrade on December 19, 1966. He began playing basketball with Red Star Belgrade and came to Greece in 1988 to start a great career with PAOK, with whom he won four titles (Cup Winners’ Cup in 1991, Greek Championship in 1992, Korac Cup in 1994 and a Greek Cup in 1995), played another two European finals (1992 and 1996) as well as in the Champions Winners’ Cup Final Four that place in Athens in 1993.
He played in Italy with Virtus Bologna during the 1996-97 season and won the Italian Cup, at the same time being voted as the final MVP. He returned to Greece and played for two years with AEK (1997-99), playing in the Euroleague Final Four in 1998 in Barcelona and ended his playing career with PAOK where he returned for the 1999-2000 season.
With PAOK, he has served as an assistant coach (2001-02), head coach (2002-06), GM (2006-07), while he has been appointed to the Presidential seat since August 2011. As a coach, he has worked with Ionikos Lamia (2007-08) and he has also served as a GM for Red Star (2000-01) and CSKA Sofia (2008).
